Student Organizations
Whether you have a special interest in politics or just want to have a good laugh with a comedian, the Office of Student Activities has something for you. The Office supports over 70 student clubs and organizations and provides resources, leadership training and special event planning for all students.

Starting a New Organization
Discover and explore your leadership potential! Students also have the opportunity to create new clubs each year – it's a great way to develop your leadership skills and leave your mark on CNU!

Review the Student Handbook, section IV (PDF) – Part I
Create your constitution (sample constitution) (DOC)
Establish your initial list of members
Enlist a faculty or staff member to serve as an advisor
Fill out the Request for Recognition Form (PDF)
Turn in your Recognition Request Packet* which includes the following:
Constitution and Bylaws (bylaws are optional)
National constitution and bylaws if applicable
Signed advisor contract
Request for Recognition Form
Initial list of interested members
Packet should be turned into the Office of Student Activities, DSU 330. Review takes approximately two weeks. For more information, please contact the Office of Student Activities at (757) 594-7260.
