Dr. Linda Johnson, self-described “plant freak” discusses the reasons to consider adding more native plants to our garden. She will also discuss her favorite native trees and shrubs. Dr. Johnson is a horticulturalist in the Biology department. Her major areas of research are population ecology and pollination biology. |

What is it about THIS story that has grabbed reader attention like no other story in popular culture? You will discuss the first of the Harry Potter books, thinking about literary influences within the book. All ages are welcome in this session. |

A panel of scholars from the School of Business will discuss the political economy of energy prices within the context of recent conflict around the world. Topics will include a historical comparison of oil prices, oil company profits, the economics of war, and the price of gas at the pump. |
